    Hi.

Why is everything in Tools/Backup/restore greyed out. Edit button does nothing. I am the admin user. Same with Chrome and Firefox.

Pressing the 'Edit' button simply unlocks the fields you see initially so you're able to change them. The page display itself doesn't change.

No, that's the thing. Edit button does absolutely nothing.

Can not change anything. Can not click on anything else but Click here for more info

Can you click backup now? That way you might get asked where to backup to. Right now it says default.

On mine, when I click edit, I can make changes the edit button changes to a green "save" button.

          Hi.

It will pop up the Backup Process window, but will not start. It just sits there.

          c:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS4\html\backups\ is empty

Same for versions 4.2.17.0 and 4.2.18.0. Restarting HS4 or the computer does not help.

Also tried to run HS using Run as Administrator (right click menu).

For a test, I installed a clean install on another PC. Here it does work

            Back on the server...
I could force the edit mode using a direct URL.

            http://localhost:8085/backup.html?edit=true

But the Save button will do nothing (Just like Edit Button, prior to this)

Well, it's Windows. Never had to set it.

                  Ha, found it by luck.

                  Setup/Network

I had this disabled and it seems there is a bug.

I don't see the relationship between MyHS and local backups. I tend to agree with you that "... it seems there is a bug...".

Cloud backup (on same page) is the relation that is breaking I guess.

is there any way to report the bugs somewhere?

                              Did you saved the settings?

it takes a while before Edit button turns to Save and you can make changes on the Backup/Restore page.
