    Hometroller-SE PS2 inputs

I have a new Hometroller-SE Pro and would like to free up the USB ports. I tried plugging a keyboard and mouse into the PS2 ports, they are USB devices with the supplied USB->PS2 adaptor, and got no response after re-starting the box.

Are there any settings I need to know/change to enable the PS2 connectors? Something in BIOS settings? How do I get to the BIOS - with the keyboard?

These are the same keyboard and mouse that work fine in the USB ports so I know they work.

    Thanks in advance,
    bob

I would recommend using a USB hub.

      Making the PS2 ports work?

Which is probably what I will do at some point to expand for other peripherals including USB-to-RS232. But in the meantime those 2 PS2 ports come with my shiney new box and I would just like to know if they should work as intended, and what if anything I need to do to make them work.

Plugging in a keyboard and mouse through the supplied USB->PS2 connectors, and rebooting the box, did not work for me.

Thanks in advance for any PS2-on-Hometroller-SE advice or info,
