OS= XP embedded configured and release with Pro-100

Belkin1200va UPS
Belkin bulldog plus ver 3.2.19 build 108
Belkin UPS is USB attached
I can see, monitor, status and control the ups via the belkin monitor app
I can see, monitor, status and control the ups via the belkin service app and html interface on port 8080

I have power monitor software enabled on this Pro-100 lab system

ISSUE:
Power monitor does not respond to UPS activity
Power monitor logs an entry to HS log file every 10 seconds

TESTING:
Win XP embedded /control panel/power options props/UPS
mfgr= generic
XP UPS status message= the ups service is currently stopped
setting the mfgr to anything yields the same service message.

QUESTIONS:
does XP embedded support UPS monitoring
what XP embedded service needs to be running
what files should be on the machine
where are they located

does power monitor plug in require xp ups service to be running
what mfgr did you use for belkin ups usb attached
does power monitor have a config file to control setup and logging attributes
