Not only is it the easiest way it's the only way if the OS susbstained corruption. You can login to the dealer products page to order this restore drive.

I do not have the restore unit, but made an ordre.

It will - have used several times - restores OS and HS back to factory defaults

And is it the same situation with HS uninstalled from my controller ?

Yes it will make the PRO-100 like it was when you got both the OS and HomeSeer.

Course you will want to back anything up that you want to keep as the restore flash does wipe the entire Pro-100 and you'll start from scratch.
