External Harddrive Wont Install

I have a Western Digital 160GB external harddrive. There are no drivers available on western digital website. They said you dont need one, it ships with Windows XP. It will not install..

It trys to install. it recongizes the drive and then it says there is an error with the inf file, any ideas?

Are you getting any errors? What version of HS are you running? I just plugged in a Seagate Freepro 1TB external drive and it came right up and was recognized by the Pro-100. Did you try unplugging the power supply on the drive after you plugged it into Pro?
