KMT DS18B20 Temperatures not displaying correctly

few weeks ago I noticed that the temperatures are not displaying correctly from your software, the ds18 is working and showing correct temps. I disconnected the power to unit to see if it would reset, I tried to poll, just stays at 32 degrees, also the dates stay at 4/1/2023.

Please provide log. Set Location Log to Trace, filter HS log by plugin (FROM FILTER) and EXPORT HS log to file.

Also, output from Tools => Help.

I checked my code, it looks like I support only 4 sensors because I tested with https://www.kmtronic.com/index.php?r...product_id=106, but your device is https://www.kmtronic.com/index.php?r...product_id=108 "Support up to 8 DS18B20 temperature sensors".

So I guess it couldn't work anyways. I need to add your device.

Hi, installed the beta app and every thing comes up as unknown, I restarted the app and still shows unknown, see attachments. I have two temperature devices and 2 – 4 channel relays and 2 – 8 channels relays, all display unknown

            Hi,

Did you create a new device for the 8 channels DS1820?

And to troubleshoot the problem - I need more info. I.e.

            - screenshots of device config screens
            - log? Please enable Log for each device, restart the plugin, filter HS log by plugin (FROM FILTER) and EXPORT to file.
            - also output from Tools => Help may be useful

hi, thank you for quick response, the log "4/30/2023 12:21:19 PM AK WebIO Info 4/30/2023 12:21:19 PM AK WebIO ver. 4.0.5.9 (4.0.5.41)" doesn't show much, should i use trace instead? all the devices are existing nothing new was added.

                  Thank you.

Do you have authentication setup on the device? I tested using their online demo with the username/password, but not sure how it behaves if you don't use the auth.

BTW you don't heed help2.txt (it's for HST support and contains private info) - help1.txt is sufficient. I removed help2 from your post.

                          Which temps exactly?

The device is 4 channels, but you have 8 temperatures. What is it supposed to be?

If you have only 4 - can you delete all child devices (keep the root) - and restart the plugin.

If you have 8 - you need to recreate the device completely and select 8CH device.

BTW, I noticed in the KMT plugin there's children status overview page, I also added children to MyDevices page, see https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/hs...64#post1612664
