Any idea if this will work with the IP-connected MCA-88? I'm fairly sure the Rnet protocol is the same as the CAV6.6

I prefer serial connection RS232 cable on RNET. No latency, very fast command deployment. This plug in is great. And integrates with Alexa with very few issues. I'm still trying to figure out how to set shorter level 1 voice command ie "Alexa play Octane" Instead of "Alexa, ask Russound to play favorite Octane" with a routine. It's a great plugin!Comment

For me, it's just a matter of convenience. My previous MCA-66 used ethernet to serial adapter because the HS device is not near the Russound. I was hoping to just connect to the MCA-88 without the IP to serial adapter. I'll try both ways. Thanks for the heads up regarding response time.
