Unable to add Hub

Ok, need some suggestions. Old HS3 Plugin used to work. I deleted it and added the new HS4. I set static IPs on both the SEL Linux box (10.0.0.50) and the Harmony Hub. (10.0.0.18).

HS4 is on 4.1.2.0 and Hub Plug-in is on 4.0.11.0

Harmony Hub is 4.15.264

I have turned on XMPP.

i have rebooted both HS4 and Hub. I check hub right before sending this and turns on TV, channels, etc as expected from Harmony Hub app. App confirms the IP address and so does the router.

When I go to step 3 and put in the IP address of Hub, I get “error while connecting to 10.0.0.18 Hub: Exception has been thrown by the target of invocation”

I have tried all I can think about. Suggestions please?

Please set the log level to Debug from the Settings page, then try to add your hub again and post what you get in the logs. Thanks

sorry for the delay
unfortunately, the log page is filtering out some xml. So, from the settings page, please enable log to file, set the "File log level" to Trace, then try to add the hub again then send me the log file file Logs/HarmonyHub.txt

also to get the mono version installed on your SEL please run the following command

mono --version

I am facing the same issue. I have also enabled the XMPP and still I am getting the same error. Here is my trace log attached.

When you open the Harmony Hub on your phone or tablet and you're connected onto the same network of your Harmony, make sure it doesn't show a cloud icon next to 'conenct"

I was battling connection issues just recently and found that my Hub for whatever reason wasn't passing local traffic. Only fix for me was factory reset and add the hub again. You shouldn't loose any of your setup by doing this as you can just transfer your activies over.

according to github it has been fixed in mono 5.18 or later

Can you try to upgrade mono?

BigDaddy , charbwin , your problem may be the same or caused by something else, I would need to see the log file at Trace level, and your exact mono version to be sure.
