I see 1.0.0.10 added the Alarm State feature, thanks! So now I can check for "Burglar Alarm" in my event:

How can I add my base station back? I accidentaly deleted it in a bulk edit and can't recreate it.

Great work getting this up and running, it’s been on my homeseer wish list for a long, long time to have it play nice with ring.

Just setup the PI today, and hit a bit of an issue. I have two locations in my ring account - my home and my parents house. I have a ring alarm in both properties. I can only see one of these in the PI. Is this something you’d expect to happen? Other devices are fine - i see devices for cameras in both locations for example.

The alarm base station in the second property is currently in ‘mobile backup’ mode, as it’s fallen off the WiFi. Not sure whether that’s contributed to the problem?

I have tested multiple locations ... but .... only by using a camera , I don't have 2 alarm systems, so that might indeed not work. So, if you don't mind, go to settings->debug->capture which will create a big file. Don't post it, but PM it to me so I can have a look at what Ring published to the PI wrt to this second location.

Are there any other Alarm States than these? I had an odd kind of alarm event a few days ago and was thinking about it for some reason today and realized that my HS event that should have fired (based on a "burglar alarm" Alarm State) didn't do so.

What happened is I armed the alarm in Away mode and my wife and I left through the front door for a walk. 2 minutes later, the alarm went off (and we got all the phone alerts, phone call from Ring, etc.). I determined that the contact sensor on the front door was stuck in an "open" state for some reason (even though the door was definitely closed). We finished our walk and when we got home I opened and closed the front door a few times and eventually the sensor woke up and started sending the proper state again.

In the Ring mobile app, the event shows as "Ring is alarming - Exit Error by Front Door." I'm guessing this state isn't picked up by the plug-in so the state on my HS device didn't change to one of the "No Alarm" states that my event was looking for. I can supplement this probably by going back to using the Siren State, but was curious if this kind of "exit error" can be seen by the plug-in?

I have the same alarm states as you except for my Smoke/CO detectors. They provide two other alarm states.

Care to test it while PI debug level is set to errors and events?

Interesting. I have the ZCOMBO smoke/CO detectors added to Ring but don't see those. I did a "refresh devices" but they still didn't appear.

So you mean trigger the exit delay error alarm?

For now I added an "OR WHEN the Base Station Siren State changes and becomes Alarming" to my alarm event.

Maybe, we don't have the same smoke/CO detectors. The detectors I have are First Alert and were listed on the Ring app. I have three and they all have the same features.

The First Alert detectors allow me to create events based on the Ring PI for 'Fire Alarm' or 'CO Alarm' status.

These states came in a lot later when I added support for these. You may have to delete that feature and the PI will recreate. Only issue you may have is that you have to redo any event that you created.

I have the first alert Zcombo and I got all the alarm states after the last upgrade. Love this plugin. I have so many events tied to it I would hate to have to recreate/update them

Those are ones I have, paired with Ring. Sounds like I may need to delete the feature from the base station and let it re-detect.
