RING observation and not Plugin related

I'm noticing that my RING Doorbell PRO (wired) seems to at times be taking siesta, meaning that when someone comes into detection range and closer the Ring doorbell doesn't seem to register a motion detection, but then at other times its spot on. Is this a common RING observation or am I experiencing a faulty device. I would have bought that conclusion, but I've notice that my other doorbell sometimes experiences the same siesta moments.

My WiFi connection(s) has been good with no issues and/or drop out. Its almost like the cloud is having digestion issues (my pun). Thanxs in advance

Can't say except that I noticed (on pro and stickup cam) that if you start the motion, way too close, say come from the side and hold your hand in front of the camera, it doesn't seem to react to it, maybe something that gets filtered out or the CV can't figure out what just happened.

Same here MNB my wired RING door bell is about 5 years old and it works fine and I get quite a bit of traffic during a normal week day. Only issue I have is the button is cracked and I need to replace.
