Ah that is indeed the typical error , which 2 other users (if you look through this thread) seem to have fixed. You may have to reboot your PC to have it take effect.

hmm what format is this? A word document format? Just copy/paste directly from your HS Log into here. I have the impression your problem has nothing to do with .net or tls1.2.
You did enter your credentials and clicked "FULLY AUTHENTICATE RING CLIENT", right? NOT "REAUTHENTICATE ..."?

Nope, you go to the setting page of the plugin, debug tab, set debug log level to errors and events. Then you go to the general page where you should have entered your Ring credentials and the click on "full authenticate". I assume you have a 2 form factor authentication on your ring account, so you will get a txt message or an email with a code. A pop up should have showed up where you enter this code. If you don't get the pop-up you pull up the HS log and post me the log entries generated by the plugin. I don't think there is personal info in it, but check it anyway before posting here. You can also PM me.

*IF* this is a TLS1.2 issue, we should see the error in the log ....

I wasn't able to fix TLS problem on Windows 7 (and a few of my users tried too).

Can you raise the alarm level to "errors and events", restart the plugin, click on fully authenticate. What do you see in the log?

Again, depends on client Windows version (and build number) too.

FYI, ring serever is also using AWS, but has more cipher suites supported (at the moment):
