    Default "Ring Home" location

Is there a way to prevent the plug-in from changing the Location of my Ring devices to "Ring Home"?

I'm a "Type A Personality" when it comes to organizing my devices and it's bugging me that the plug-in keeps changing the location. I have "Automatically update location names on HS devices when location name is changed on Ring server" turned off.

Also is there a way to change what new devices default to Location-wise?

The PI uses the location name you gave to your ring account, so that would be the default, irrespective of how you set the "Automatically update location names". So if you change the location name on your ring account, the PI will use what you want to use (but adds Ring xxxxxx).

Gotcha, so since in the Ring Dashboard I've named my location "Home" that's why I get "Ring Home" on the devices.

But can I prevent the PI from overwriting the location in HS? I had to do a device refresh yesterday (after adding some new contact sensors) and it replaced the location of all the existing devices with "Ring Home" so I had to bulk edit them back to the location I wanted. Guess I could just live with "Ring Home" ...

They shouldn't update (ie the location2) if you unclick the "Automatically update location names".
