Please install latest BETA (4.0.0.29). You need to enable "Show Beta Plugins" in Plugins => Add

            [EDIT]
            Please try ver 4.0.0.30 (BETA)

If still doesn't work - please start the plugin manually from terminal (console) window in HS root folder and see if any errors there.

When I started the plugin manually my Avast Antivirus software didn't like the plugin. I had to add an exception for it to start anyway and not block it. This was probably the problem the whole time. I forgot that this sometimes happens when you install a plugin. Homeseer is on a laptop in the living room. I hardly ever get on it. I mess with HS4 from my laptop in the bedroom so I was missing the prompts from my Antivirus.

Should I leave the Beta installed or should I go back to the regular version?

                Thanks
                Jim

Good news you found the issue. I missed in the info you provided "Avast Antivirus". BTW, I think Windows 10 built in antivirus is sufficient (Windows Defender) - but it's my opinion.

Latest BETA is fine to keep - I'm working on new authentication for FW 7.x, which you may need at some stage.
