Thanks for trying my plugin and the feedback! Since there is no easy way to change to port number in the Unifi GUI (as far as I know), I never considered making this configurable.

Custom Port Number
I've just installed this on my system, but I can't get it to act right since I have my controller running on a different port than 443. If I put in the port in the settings, it just tells me that's the wrong format. It's basically just filling up my logs saying that it's unable to connect to the remote server. The log for the POST it's using is using the 443 port. Is there a way to get it to use whatever port we want?
