With the great help of MFULLER we quickly identified the issue. Running a UnifiOS device with Unifi Protect disabled (on the Unifi Controller/UDM) causes the plugin to crash.

We fixed it by disabling the Unifi Controller in the Unifi.ini for now. I will release a permanent fix later today. Thanks again!

It crashed before I could do anything.

How do I give you remote access?

    Thanks

    Yes, 2FA is not supported.

I suggest to create a new local account, so that is can only be used locally/directly on the Unifi controller to mitigate the lack of 2FA.

    Hi All,

Just installed this plugin for the first time. I've tried adding it to the plugin but it fails to connect. I am thinking this may be due to Two Factor Authentication.

Is this likely an issue? Is there a way round it without disabling 2FA?
