    SecureChannelFailure

Just installed your plugin and I am having problems getting it to work. Running HS4 4.1.16 on Ubuntu 20.04

Login with the local user credentials in the browser succeeded.

    Any ideas?

    TIA,
    Scott

Hi, thanks for evaluating the plugin and sorry you are running into issues.

What version of Mono are you using? Because it seems to be a Mono issue based on the error. I can try to replicate if I know the version you are using.

Also, you can try the latest beta. That will try to get the "InnerException", maybe that will give some additional clues.

    Thanks!

Different error with the beta. Which version of mono should I be running?

This is weird. The innerException clearly points to a Mono issue, but I just tested it on my own Linux test server (Ubuntu 20.04 with Mono 6.8.0.105) and it works fine...

To be honest; no clue. Anything special about your HomeSeer server I should know?

I am running the exact same version... sorry, I am not a Linux expert, not sure how I can help. I hope others might have a suggestion. I know there are several other users of the plugin running Linux.

One last thing you could check: are all mono packages installed? Perhaps some are missing that deal with SSL / Encryption?

Figured it out, should have caught it way sooner. I copied the Config and Data directories from the old system. I removed the plugin, deleted all unifi.* files from config and data, reinstalled the plugin and it works great! Check is in the mail!!

Thank you for your help Stefan,

Great! Still don't fully understand what caused the issue, but glad you've resolved it.

Let me know if you have any other issues or questions.
