    Status device Shelly 2.5

    Hi,

Yesterday I add three Shelly 2.5 modules for my blinds.
Everything works perfect but I see no status device for open / closed.
Only the Roller device, but this one changed after open or closed to stop
    is this correct?

      Hi Alex,

      See below, the Roller device.
It is always on Stop, only if you press Close or Open it is temporary different.
So I can not see now if it is Open or Closed
Is it not possible to get a device that I can see if the status is Open or Close.

That's because how Shelly reports the status - normally it's stopped, but when it's moving - it reports the direction opening or closing.

Can you enable Log in device settings and post the log messages so I can verify, I don't have Shelly 2.5 in roller mode,

          Hi Alex,

Here is the Log after opening.
In the Shelly App I can see if it is open or close, see below

            Thank you.

Can you also please verify how the slider works?
The slider scale is 0 to 100, which one corresponds to "open", which "closed"?
Also, since HS device can have only one status - what do you expect to see as status? I.e. "open", "close" or actual position (0-100)?
I have to choose one or another, unless I create a separate HS device for the position, which is proper option of course, but at the same time I try to minimise number of HS devices.

I guess if you stop the roller half way - you prefer to see the actual position, not "stopped" state...

Do you mean the slider in the Shelly App from the roller device?
In the Shelly App 100% is open and 0% is closed.
The slider in Homeseer is always completely on the left side.
I like a device that I can see if it is open , closed or somewhere between if possible.

                    [EDIT]

It's on the left side because the "open", "close" and "stopped" states are negative values, so HS device tries to show the state which is below minimum slider value (which is zero).

Can you check, say you scroll the slider all the way to the right (100) - will it open or close?

When I scroll the slider to the right nothing happens.
When I refresh the page the slider goes back to the left.

                      This is in the Log

The problem is - I'm trying to display in one HS device two different values - the state (open/close) and the position (0-100). Ideally I should separate into two different devices.

                        What's your view?

Also, can you try moving the slider half way?

Two different devices would be oke for me.
When I put the slider half way is moves to 50%
After that the slider moves back to the left

Do you think it's sufficient if I just display the state 0 to 100, no "open" / "close" (still have the buttons)

                            Or two separate device better?

Better two devices, because I am using the Open / Close status devices more I guess
The buttons I can not see if it is open or closed
