Getting the following error when trying to pair my Aqara FP2

I'm hoping that someone can assist me with this issue. When I try to pair my FP2, I get an error after entering the pin code.

"Could not initialize platform-specific components. NSec may not be supported on this platform. See https://nsec.rocks/docs/install for more information. Unable to load DLL 'libsodium': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)"

    I am running HS4 on a windows 11 PC.

    Do you have file libsodium.dll under C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS4\Bin\HomeKitControllerLite ?
This should have been installed with plugin.

If yes, what kind of machine is this (CPU) ?

It is possible that vc14runtime.dll is missing from machine. Windows 11 stopped shipping with some of these dlls.

Can you try installing one from here:

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads

            Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022

            https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

We are so close! Installing VC_redist.x86.exe got me farther. I have attached the logs for the new error.

I think my device might think that it's linked now because if I try to search for it now, I don't see it available.
I truly appreciate your assistance with this and don't mind the extra work to get it working as I think it will make this plug-in way more popular if this particular device works with it. Plus I plan to throw some $ at you for your time.

I have installed this version at the bottom. Is this the very latest? It works on linux with the fp2

I'm running windows, not sure if that would matter though. I appreciate the assistance, it does look like your link points to a newer (probably beta) version than what is currently installed on my system. I just need to figure out how to manually install this.

                      Unzip the file Binaries.zip .

place the resulting two files into the root of your homeseer folder.

                      Than go to http://your_iport/shop.html

                      install the new version.

remove the two files from your homeseer root folder.

The pairing is failing with Device saying that pairing method is unavailable. Can you try resting the device and doing the pairing again ?

I don't have access to device, are there options available while pairing the device ?

I installed your beta as someone was able to get it working with that version. When I originally paired it with a full version of HomeKit Controller there were no options that I had to select. It just paired and showed all of the appropriate devices.

It looks like the partial pairing has locked the device up so a reset is the only option at this point. All part of the learning process.
Just a heads up, this device needs to be initially set up on a phone with the Aqara app so that it can have its Wi-Fi set up. So, resets are a little bit of a pain. But like I said. Part of the learning process.

just a heads up, the beta did show up in the shop but wouldn't install. There were manual install instructions in the zip which worked. So I have the beta installed now.

OK so after resetting and after installing the beta version, my FP2 is now paired. The whole process was much smoother.
I want to thank everyone for their assistance!
