Dimmable Lights
I'd like to see dimmable lights have the dim level funciton on the switch itself, instead of having a separate device for level.

There is a device that holds the Level. There is also a device that can be used to define the rate at which the dimming will occur. Can you give me an example of what you are asking?
There are some implementations where a device has on/off buttons and a slider. This works for the case where the user does not want to remember what the prior dim level was when the light was turned off. It means the user needs to explicitly set the level every time the light changes from off. I did not check, but I believe the Hubitat allows a light to be set to 30%, turned off, turned on and then it is restored to 30%.
