Release 4.0.4.1 Februari 8, 2021

• Changed displaying details of presents and scenes. Now the chosen colors are shown and even following you while editing the values. Or you can select the color directly from the colorpicker.
• Position of the On/off buttons have been switched position when creating a new devices or rebuilding device values
• Sometimes a warning was logged that a device was pointing at the same device, while mentioning the same device as a double. This has been corrected.
• During import of sensormodels the new definitions were no longer saved in the database. This has been solved. If a switch or sensor is not having a correct definition, please use the rebuild values function on the properties page (JowiHue tab) or use the same in the settings page for all devices.
• The plugin was getting device updates of other HS3 plugin that would throw an error when the devices are still in HS3 format. This has been resolved.
• On a deCONZ gateway, updating the device's color when a up or down button was used for hue or saturation, could be delayed. This has been changed.

Release 4.0.4.2 Februari 18 2021

• In the last version buttons for on and off were changed in position. But the control use option was not correct because of that. This will be corrected by the plugin. After the first start, the plugin will find those devices and correct them.
• When resetting the device pair values, plugs were no longer shown with a correct icon and with a dim slider. This is corrected at this point. If you have a plug with a slider on the devices page, please choose to reset the device values in the properties tab of the device, in the JowiHue tab.
• Some users have an issue with the Group 0 updates of deCONZ. Changed the code to prevent this error, and if the issue persist add, more info to analyze.
• Solved an issue when editing/adding a scene
• Solved an issue in the scripting command SetLightsRGB that could throw an unexpected error

Release 4.0.4.3 March 8 2021

• During conversion to the HS4 version of the plugin dimming is changed to enforce usage of percentages. For users still using the standard values (0,254) in HS3 one step on the conversion was skipped, this is now corrected. (also for already converted devices)
• Some changes were done to the control of window covering devices
• Devices for plugs were creating with the CanDim setting. This was not supposed to happen. For new devices this setting is no longer set. Excisting devices cannot be reset.
• It is possible that Phoscon created empty groups, causing the plugin to throw errors. These errors are now suppressed
• HA bridges could be recognized as Philips bridges. Updated this to improve excluding HA bridges.
• Several users seen problems with group devices throwing errors. These should be resolved now

• Added initial support for introspection on switches on deCONZ. Check below for more details
• Corrected an issue for IKEA blinds not stopping when stop button used
• Solved an issue with name changes on lights being incomplete

• Solved an issue where the setting of a lights recovery would not be saved correctly
• Solved an issue where a light with only on/off capabilities would still get a dimmer slider

The most important change in this version is the (initial) addition of support for introspection of switches. This new deCONZ functionality is enabling a more dynamic switch information coming from the REST API of deCONZ. This enables the plugin for configuring the status values of a switch device even when the model is yet unknown to the plugin.
This functionality is not yet available in the deCONZ official release, it is still in development, at this point only a few switches are supported using this new function in the latest beta of deCONZ (2.12.3).
The change made in the plugin is adaptive, it will keep working normal for older versions of deCONZ. It will adapt while new switches are added.
For later (future) versions of deCONZ the plugin will check for the availability of extra switch information when a switch is added and configure the new device accordingly.

During every start of the plugin, the switches currently present as HS device will be checked with the available information coming from deCONZ. If the deCONZ information and the status values of the existing device do not match, the plugin will create a red line in the log explaining about the switch needing a change in status values. Also - if configured that way - it will correct the status values for the device.
Initially the plugin is not configured to correct the device values, as some users set values by hand. I would strongly advise to enable the automatic changes, so you will always see the correct values in events.
You can configure this setting by going to the settings of the plugin, Miscellaneous options and enable "possible values of a deCONZ device are not in sync with the HS device, automatically sync the HS device". With this option enabled all switches will be corrected automatically, even if at a later moment deCONZ changes possible values for the switch.

Added in this version is support for alarm systems in deCONZ. This function is still in development for deCONZ, but is available in beta in the current version of deCONZ (version 1.12.6).
The plugin supports this alarm system and enables you to configure and set the alarmsystem. A detailed guide will be published in this forum in the next few weeks. For now a few lines here to help you to get started using the alarm system:

Using the alarmsystem devices

When you enable the alarm the alarm device will be created with two features, that state panel and the pincode feature.


Whenever you want to operate the state panel device from the device list, you need to provide the pin code first. For this reason, it will not be possible to use the device actions in events to disarm the system, instead use the JowiHue actions in the event to change the state of the alarmsystem. The advantage of using the JowiHue actions is that these actions are HS device independent so will still work if a HS device was removed and recreated.

Configuring the alarmsystem devices

You can configure the alarm device once it is enabled. In the current state of the deCONZ beta alarmsystem, you can assign sensors and lights as 'active' device that can trip the alarm. You can selectively assign these devices to trip when either Alarm Home, Alarm Night or Alarm Away states are set. As a sample the bedroom motion sensor can be active in Arm Away mode, but can be inactive for Arm Night.



Devices that can be selected in the selections are Motion sensors, Vibration sensors, Keypads (in development), Switches and Remotes.
At a later stage external events can be added as well to trigger the alarm, for example through HS Events triggering on other devices, like X10 or Z-Wave.

Set pincode

If you have enabled the alarm system for the first time, you will need to set a pincode before you can operate the devices or create events operating the alarmsystem. The pincode is set on deCONZ and deCONZ will from then on expect this pincode for all operation. For use in events, this pincode is stored encrypted by the plugin and will not show on any page of HS.

Set Timers

You can configure the timers used by the alarmsystem for each state of the system. There is a timer for delay entry (how much time you have to disarm the system when entering the house), delay exit (how much time you need to exit the house after setting the alarm state). You can set these time for each alarmsystem state.


Using Events

You can use the alarmsystem in events. Using event conditions is based on devices as most events are. This might change in the future to JowiHue conditions.
When setting the alarmsystem's states, use the JowiHue actions, not device actions as it is not possible to provide the pincode at the same time.



When you have select the Alarm action, you can select the alarm system to use (if there is only one, this will be selected already).
Next you can select the action to perform (Disarm/Arm Home/Arm Night/Arm Away)



Once you have selected the mode to set, a new field will be shown asking you to fill in the pin code. This is mandatory. If the correct code is given, the action can be saved. If a wrong code is given, the field is emptied and an error line will be shown.
