Can't set brightness & kelvin manually

Having a strange issue since upgrading to version 4 of the plugin. I've tried creating these events from scratch to no avail.

If I specify the brightness and kelvin temperature for a set of bulbs, it just won't work. If I specify a preset, it works.

For exampl this below no longer works. If I, however, change the preset to something, it will go that color. Trying to set a level granularly as I've done below is just ignored. I've tried this with individual lights, rooms, zones... any ideas? it doesn't even appear to be logging anything--just skipped ov

Additional info, but JowiHue events appear to be b0rked. Can't get most things to work outside of "Presets".

Setting brightness to 0, as in below does oddly work. Any other settings, forget it.

    This one does work:

This also fails to do anything:

Thought I'd try using x & y instead. I even tried not entering it, but simply using the up & down arrows to set both x & y. Immediately get this when trying to save:

Which version of the plugin are you using here? 4.0.2.1 and probably earlier had issue with setting Kelvin, Hue and Sat values, but those were resolved with the 4.0.2.2 version?

As for the xy values, I am surprised. I am working here with the pluginSDK of HST at this accepted my comma as decimal point just fine, I would be suprised if the pluginsdk would have issue with the point as decimal point. Will try to test this here...

Retested Kelvin, brighness , Hue and sat settings here, all working fine. X and Y values are set correctly, but not approved by the plugin yet correctly. Working on that part But this is not because the value is not accepted, Hope someone else can confirm the US value is disapproved....

Just checked - I'm on 4.0.2.2. You mentioned commas for the x,y numbers so thought I'd try that. The form field won't let me type a "," at all.

Also tried a different light to see if it would work, but no go. Here's the event -- just in case I'm doing something wrong.

While working on the approval of the event for xy values I might have found your issue. In the next version this will be included. So I hope this is resolved then.

On the image you posted, I see Kelvin and brightness are non 0 values now. When you run this event are the bulbs set then?

Unfortunately, no. The only one that does work (oddly) is if I set brightness to 0. That will turn the light off. But Kelvin doesn't work for me at all, and other brightness settings don't seem to work.

I'm only able to get it by creating presets (which isn't a bad way to do it actually), but would be nice to have the granular controls and specify by Kelvin.

                Thanks!

I have submitted a new version to HST which they probably will publish today or tomorrow. The issue with xy values should be solved now. Not sure yet on the CT and brightness issue as it is working for me, so I could not copy the issue. If the new version does not work for you for the CT and brightness values, could you do a detailed trace for me? In that case follow these steps for me:
                  • Enable verbose tracing and logtofile options in the settings of the plugin
                  • If the event is saved, trigger the event (or create and trigger it)
                  • Disbale the verbose tracing and logtofile options
                  • Send me the JowiHue.log from the \Logs directory of the hs installation directory?
Send it to jowihue at ziggo dot nl?

                  Thanks,
