Switches values are updated at every plugin restart

    Hi Wim,

When the plugin is restarted by any mean, values of switched are updated.

HS Events for theses switches, need to be set to '' the value has been set to '' '' ,because it is possible to receive the same command two times in a row.

The problem here is when the plugin restart, it updates the value of the switches and events are triggered for nothing.

Would it be possible to NOT update those values at startup if the device is a switch ( at least and only at startup do not update the value if it is the same) ?

    Thanks

    Matthieu,

I am aware of this issue. But there is a challenge as the plugin keeps track of the last update of the switch. A switch can resend the same value when pressed. The plugin chacks this date and if (even for battery updates) the last update field has changed during inactivity of the plugin the update is triggered. It is a long time issue that I would love to catch, but delaying the trigger does not solve the issue. As in the next cycle after initializing the change in last update will still trigger.

    But I will keep searching!

    Thanks,

    Wim
