    Hue CT Convert to K Values

    Wim, any chance you would have a way to convert the slider numbers from 154 which equals (6500K) and 500 which equals (2200K) and the values in between? It is impossible to know what K value you are seeing. I did a conversion myself in spreadsheet from 154 to 500 at 12.5 per step. So 154=6500 then 166.5=6487.5 then 189=6475 and so on. It is definitely a long list of 344 steps. I wouldn't blame you if you said no. Thanks

    Larry,

    This is already available in the plugin.

    Goto to the settings page of the plugin. You will find an option there to show Kelvin instead of Myriads. See the image for this

      Thanks Wim. When you have 2 bulbs in a group (I made a zone in the phone app and grouped 2 bulbs) in an event the range only goes from 2000-2999, the values from 3000-6500 are missing.

      Also the range for a single bulb by itself in an event only has a range of 2203-3202. Which is also missing 3203-6500.

        Larry,

        The used range depends on the brand and type of bulbs used. The range you are mentioning 2200-6500 is only reached by Philips. Check the properties of a bulb you are trying to control. Check the JowiHue tab. You will find the JSON info there. Find the values for ctmin and ctmax (on deCONZ) or CT:min and ct:max (on Philips bridges). Those values define the limits of the bulb. The device is set to those limits.

        for example here a CT light on deCONZ gateways from me:

        **************************** Object info *****************************
        {
        "type": "Color temperature light",
        "name": "Computerkamer lamp",
        "modelid": "TRADFRI bulb E27 WS opal 980lm",
        "swversion": "1.2.217",
        "uniqueid": "00:0b:57:ff:fe:9d:4b:8f-01",
        "manufacturername": "IKEA of Sweden",
        "state": {
        "on": false,
        "ct": 334,
        "alert": "none",
        "reachable": true,
        "bri": 203,
        "colormode": "ct"
        },
        "etag": "728e4a7eba16287adaaca4edb14835a0",
        "hascolor": true,
        "ctmax": 454,
        "ctmin": 250,

        "lastannounced": "2020-08-15T22:16:18Z",
        "lastseen": "2020-09-20T12:12:18Z"
        }

        The above light is not capable of following the full range.

        Another one, coming from A Philips hue bridge:

        "ct": {
        "min": 153,
        "max": 500

        }

        And the above one is full range defined.

          Aaah! Thanks Wim. I forgot about looking under the Jowihue tab. The bulbs are hue white ambiance and they are all on the Hue bridge. I am not running DeCONZ. The bulbs show a min of 153 and a max of 454. So the drop down values are a little off at 153-500. The bulbs are 2 different models LTA002 and LTW015 but both have the same min and max values.
