Aqara Vibration Sensor - Sensitivity Adjustment?

I am using the Aqara Vibration Sensor on my clothes dryer door to track door open/close status using the JowiHue "Orientation" devices. This works very well, no problems at all here.

I also want to use this sensor's vibration sensing feature to know when the dryer is operating, but in the default state it is unusable for this. The vibration sensor is waaaaaaay too sensitive....the JowiHue "Vibration" device constantly oscillates between "Movement" and "No Movement" when the dryer is not even running.

According to the video on the product page of the Aqara website, it seems there is a way to set the sensitivity when using the native Aqara hub and app. I cannot find a way to do the equivalent using JowiHue or Phoscon.

    Any ideas?

If you go to the properties of the vibration device and select the JowiHue tab, you will find the sensitivity setting there. A value of 0 is very sensitive, a value of 21 is low sensitive.
Be aware that as it is a battery device, changing this value can take some time before it is really set.

teladog01 An extra remark. I am using the same vibration sensor here (with a setting at 1 as you can see in the above image). I set a counter once the vibration sensor has been active for 4 minutes. And I let the speaker announce the dryer should be ready after 10 minutes of no motion. Not sure if this wil help you determine your settings, but it might

        Thanks for the pointer, Wim

As you pointed out in the other thread, I have posted this in the wrong forum, since I am still on HS3. Please move to the appropriate HS3 forum if possible...maybe I am missing it, but I don't see a way to do that myself.

            Following up on this...

As i have detailed in another thread, I could not find the "Sensitivity" setting because the JowiHue tab of the vibration device was giving an error message and not showing any of the settings or data that is normally on the JowiHue tab. After deleting the vibration sensor devices and letting JowiHue recreate them, I am now able to see and change the settings on the JowiHue tab of the new vibration sensor devices.

i have removed them from the raspbee and homeseer
              then rebooted both machines
              added 1 vibration sensor back
in homeseer i go to JowHue tag and set the setting to 1 scroll down and click save
scroll up and the box is empty.
i don't know what to try next
and everything was working fine a couple of weeks back
              paul.

                sirbooker Paul,

I double checked it here and found there is an issue with saving the change for the HS4 version of the plugin. Will be corrected with the next version - probably next week.

                Thanks for notifying!

I am on the most recent version of both HS4 and JouiHue and my Aqara Vibration sensor does not seem to sense vibration. I have gone to the JowiHue tab in the Vibration sensor and see nothing but the spinning "wait" circle. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Please help.

It senses when I tilt the sensor 90 degrees but not vibrabration and I cannot get to the JouiHue page.

I checked here on my vibration sensor and the JowiHue tab is displaying fine here. When you open de JowiHue tab, does any error show in the HS log?
Which exact 'current' version of HS are you running? The beta or the stable version?

Thanks for trying, I have abandoned this for now. I just need a way to tell when you Bryant Furnace Fan is running if you have any ideas.
