    JowiHue plugin issue with DeConz bridge - Optional to limit command queue

    Hi Guys,

    I have a HS4 installastion that use smart light control via a DeCoinz ConBee I gateway.
    JuwiHue HS4 plugin installed.
    Approx 110 Smart Lights (Ikea Traadfri) and a few sensors and switches.

    This halloween I desided to do Scenes and Animation from the JowiHue plugin.
    In it self this is works great, issue is that the Deconz and Conbee gateway cant keep up.
    DeConz has a hard coded limit of 20 sequential commands, more than that JowiHue plugin throws error and scenes and animation fails to execute as expected.

    I would much like to se the option to limit the command queue, or that the plugin it self is able to "sense" that it is DeConz gateway conneted setting the limits not to flood DeConz with commands.

    Would this be possible to implement??

    Note!! I have discussed this with DeConz developers and they can not change this.

    I would like to know what the errors are?
    The plugin is already limiting its speed to ca. 10 commands per second max (following the guidelines of the Philips Hue bridges) and even more slow when a command to groups is send. This has been in the plugin for several years. But overtime I have adjusted some of the timings based on my own environment and experiences. So maybe I have stepped on some boundaries here?

    Are you running the latest version of the plugin, and could you post some of the errors thrown (preferably in a verbose logging?)

      Thanks for getting back to me

      Yes latest HS4 native plugin, with the latest DeConz version.
      Issue is sequention command, not max per second and so on.
      This only happens when i "stress" JowiHuw and DeCOnz, not day to day use.

      I can create logs, I need a bit of time to make that happen. I will get back to you on that.

          That is not the verbose log I think. You will find the results of verbose logging in the JowiHue.log file in \Logs.
          This error is different from what you posted in Github. The error you are looking at now seems to point to a bad scene maybe? If I have the vebose log behind that I probably can point to the scene having this issue. The unexpected result in Json as posted in Github is a timings issue. When I can have a look at the verbose log of that I can check the timing....

                There is something wrong in the scenes that are starting. Is the name of the scene always "1"? It looks like this scene is incomplete somehow? Could you check on thë details of the scene that should start?

                    This setup makes suire th RGB lamp switch colors and blinks.

                    Last scene:
                    This scene uses 3 Ikea warm/cold white bulbs, making the change from cold to warm ins a random sequense.

                      Hmm , I did a manual test of scenes and animations directy in plugin, and now I see that my configuratio isnt there anymore.
                      Perhaps change to plugin?

                      All presets been set to "new preset" not warm white, reading, cold, or colors anymore.

                      Guess that is the reason for the error seen in log.

                        I think you need to relax the animation a bit. Using 0,1 second for a step is officially the limit for commands to be send. Will have to check on the command structure to be more strict I suppose. But I think the first priority for now should be checking why the plugin is throwing errors on the scenes, as those error are before any command has been sent.
                        Could you send me the JowiHue.db file, that is in the \Data directory? I am wondering if anything is wrong in there? Send it to jowihue at ziggo dot nl?
