Can't get voice control on RGB lights to work

I am trying to get voice commands from google home working with my RGB bulbs.
So far, I can only get on/off/dim to work, without any RGB control.
I do this by only enabling voice control of the master device and the on/off/dim feature. If I add the RGB or any of the other features, I am able to control RGB but unable to set on/off/dim. I have tried various combinations of voice enabled features and naming them the same on the voice control name field. I just can't seem to get it to work properly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not using voice control myself here, so it is hard to test. As far I understand, you can have multiple features enabled for voice control? I hope someone else with more practical experience on voice control can chime in here?
