    Ikea Fyrtur no opening/closing

    Hi Wim

The Ikea fyrtur blinds do not open or close when pushing the Open and Close buttons i Homeseer 4. When I use the Ikea tradfri hub the blinds works. I have also used the zigbee2mqtt for testing the blinds and it works without problem with this program (https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/E1757.html).

I also used DeConz GUI for testing following this procedure: https://github.com/dresden-elektroni...ment-754161432 and the blinds was opening and closing with status sucess so I do not think this is a network problem.

In Deconz I see the Fyrtur blind is connected to the Ikea signal amplifier which follow the blind when buying.

I followed your advice from your posting here: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/hs4-products/hs4-plugins/lighting-primary-technology-plug-ins-aa/jowihue-w-vuyk-aa/1398707-using-a-ikea-smart-blind-fyrtur-or-kadrilj and tried to manually bind the blind to the coordinator without success. But I see the current position for windows covering devices being reported when manually opening and closing from Deconz GUI.

I solved me problem with Fyrtur blinds not moving /reacting following the advice from this link: https://github.com/dresden-elektroni...ment-723426982
    • blinds are still added to the system (but faulty battery display and not moving /reacting)
    • I take the battery out
    • start new device discovery from Phoscon (or deConz?)
    • re-insert the battery (but no reset on the blinds)
After this procedure the blinds was moving/reacting.

I described the same process in July here, except that the scan was started from the plugin. Did you miss that part? It was described just before the manual binding?
I updated the text just now emphasizing you could start the scan before putting the battery back.

There is no difference in scanning from Phoscon or the plugin.
The blinds stopping to report happens once in a while. I have my blinds here no almost a year, and it happened once so far.

      Great it is working again!

Thank you for your feedback, Wim.
I tried to follow your guide starting a scan from your plugin, but I think I must have done something wrong because it did not work for me when I tried. But I am going to use your guide now.
I did not know it was no difference scanning from Phoscon or the plugin.

Thank you for a great plugin and for your support.
