    Hue outdoor sensor SML002

I currently have a number of these sensors connected via deConz with a Conbee II stick through HS4 and the latest Jowihue plugin 4.0.5.6.

One of them was playing up and disconnecting so I re-added it via Phoscon. Its come back to life but the issue is I can't adjust the sensitivity away from 2. Everytime I reset it, it defaults back after the save.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

Which version of deCONZ are you running? As I have seen issues with the latest beta's regarding changing values (in this case it was delay time, not sensitivity)

On the other hand, if you change values on the battery devices, it really can take quite some time before it sets. I will recheck this here as well, to make sure.

Hi Wim, thanks for coming back so quickly. I am now on deCONZ v2.12.6. I don't tend to use beta's as I am not clued up enough if something goes wrong.

          Excellent! Nice work.

I am curious if any other users have had any success in changing the sensitivity of the sensor. Does it reduce object detection or range etc?

The higher the value set, the less sensitive it will respond. The range stays the same, only you have to 'dance' more to get noticed
But it does not only respond to heat, I have a snow shield for the car that I hang near the motion sensor during colder periods when I need the car. If wind gets it, the sensor will respond no matter what sensitivity set.
