I wonder what is happening here? I do have a few reports like this, but these devices are truly dead - empty battery.
What does the json on these devices report? Just take one we can focus on? What is the lastupdated attribute and the lastseen attribute showing, as well as of course the reported battery value?

This switch reports 87% but the value in the Battery feature is "Unreachable".

This one is comming from deCONZ..... "reachable": false

That is one I cannot prevent as the plugin sets a device to unreachable when the lastseen attribute is expired, but the reachable parameter is determined by deCONZ... Not sure what they use as conditions here?

Okay, so I'm going to run some tests to see if I can find out anything else.

I'm thinking of doing, in stages, the following:

1st - Replace all batteries in these switches with new ones, if the problem persists, step to number two.
2nd - Delete and re-include switches in deCONZ gui.
3rd - Delete and re-include switches in deCONZ and JowiHue plugin.

What do you think?

If you do this, focus first on one switch only. At least if this does not create differences you do not have to throw away many batteries

I am here also monitoring the new IKEA remote control here, which I received together with the IKEA motion sensor last week. It does also show now and then unreachable here. As it is new I am going to leave it as it is and will try to discover in which situations it shows unreachable. I wonder if deCONZ has changed the reachable conditions somehow

Do the switches for you also recover from being unreachable too now and then? Maybe if you use it?

Ok, i will focus on one.

Yes, they recover after i use it (ex. switch on/off). But if i restart deCONZ they become unreachable again.

I found a possible issue just today. If one restarts deCONZ, several (types of) sensors initialize as being unreachable, which I am sure is causing your issue above. deCONZ keeps reporting a device is unreachable until it gets a report from the device, which can take a long time, especially for switches as part of their energysaving.

I can work around this I think and will include this workaround in the next version

Same error here.
The sensor's battery seems fine, but the sensor has no green/yellow line in deCONZ and thus cannot be reached.
The logging in HomeSeer says: Warning: Battery of Multi Sensor Server is reporting low (-1%), consider replacing battery.

I try to figure out how to make the Aqara sensor connect to the most nearby Zigbee router device (plug/dimmer/LivingColor lamp) instead of connecting directly to the Conbee stick which is further away in the house.
