Use Sonoff SNZB-01 switch as on/off?

I see that these SNZB-01 switches can be used as on / off switches in the TUYA app. The first press switches the controlled device / event on whilst a second press of the same type (short, long, double) switches the device / event off (or vice versa).
Can this be replicated in JowieHue?

You can check if the devices are supported for deCONZ on the blakadder site It will depend on the implementation of the device on deCONZ which gestures are supported. Normally if a switch supports short/long, double, triple or quadrupel presses, it will most often also work on deCONZ and can be caught by the JowiHue plugin.

Hi Wim, Thanks for the link to "blakadder" - now bookmarked. Yes, the SONOFF SNZB-01 is recognised by deConz and I have been using thee of them for a year or so without any issues to switch devices on and off / run events.
I am wondering if once a device has been switched on by (say) short button press can a subsequent short button press be used to reverse the action. Is this programmable via your plugin or will the new conditional formatting of HS4 work here?

Have more or less answered my own question insofar as I can achieve an on/off function using the latest HS4 with conditions as below:

Is this the only or best way to achieve this outcome?

There are two more ways to achieve a toggle function in HS4.

There is a toggle function built in to EasyTrigger that will toggle between N-amount of values when the event is triggered. But since you've already achieved a toggle function using the now native HS4 features, there's no real advantage to the EasyTrigger function unless you want more than two value-states.

If the target load device is a Zigbee device, then you can do a direct binding of the switch to the load device, and then configure the switch action to On/Off. This is all done in the Phoscon app.

Tht is how I do it myself s well... in the previous version I needed more then one event for this, now it is only one. Good solution

Thanks for the information - out of curiosity I will investigate how this can be done in Phoscon as I currently have never needed to explore this app!

Thanks Wim, while it is good to know other options exist, I will change various switches over to this way of working.
