Zigbee2MQTT has a larger family of zigbee devices to give you MQTT interface for HS and HA, but if the Tasmota Zigbee has the coverage you need then this is a nice independent solution.

Thanks Michael! I was interested in using the bridge so that both HS and HA can see the same devices without backend work. I’ll pull the trigger

I have the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge and it worked fine. It was awhile ago I worked with it, but I suspect I flashed it with Tasmota. It was more of a curiosity than having an actual need. I is not deployed since I have do not have a need as I have other Zigbee interfaces deployed.

I tried the ESP8266 version of Zigbee2MQTT with the Tasmota branch and did not have success. It was early in its development and never tried again.

I don't know the relationship between HA and this device, but if it is made local rather than Cloud-based then it should do what you want.

    Sonoff Zigbee bridge w/tasmota

Is this supported with the plug-in? In my effort to marry HS4 with HomeAssistant that would be an easy win
