    Move from HS3 to HS4

Is it possible to move from the HS3 version to the HS4 version without recreated 100's of events? If this is not possible, what is the best way to move forward?

The move should be transparent except the HS3 function of trilateration with BLE which is not available in the HS4 plugin. Of course always good to create a backup of HS folders.

      Thank You Michael,

      How should I go about it? Shut down (not uninstall) HS3 Plug-In, Install HS4 Plug-In, Start HS4 Plug-In, then remove HS3 Plug-In?

I do not know how to uninstall the pluign. You disable mcsMQTT from Plugin tab then install the HS4 plugin. Two install options. One is from the Updater on the Plugin tab. The other is with the Updater Override. Suggest the second of these at it will give you the most current version of the plugin with recent issues resolved.

The most current Updater package is 5.16.0.0 at http://mcsSprinklers.com/mcsMQTT_5_16_0_0.zip. The Updater Override process is used to install it. This process is described at various places including the bottom of the first post at Direct Storage from HS Devices to InfluxDB - HomeSeer Message Board. After that there was a bug fix with the most recent at post #8 of Only seeing some HS devices ?? - HomeSeer Message Board. Unzip this file to the \bin\mcsMQTT folder.

Wow, that was absolutely painless. Just to keep things simple for the first attempt I simply disabled the HS3 PI, Installed the HS4 PI and turned on the HS4 (nothing changed in appearance) and voilĂ  done!

          Thanks for the help.
