When using the mobile app, it seems the UX is displaying the “sub” name. The website shows both a “primary” and “sub” name.
indont understand why controllers need 2 names? Am I missing the point?
I do Have several 8 button controllers and the “sub” name makes complete sense; one sub name for each button on the controller.
Is there a common naming strategy for controllers? Because I use the mobile app a lot, I proceeded with duplicating the primary and sub names (except for 8 button controllers).
{floor}-{name}-{function}
downstairs-dinningRoom-light
outsode-fence-light
etc.
this way I can easily find and understand my controllers in the mobile app.
