You may want to check out this post... https://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=196335

A update from Smarthome basically rendered the Insteon hub useless to everyone using Mark's Insteon plugin... I would suspect that the same is true for HomeSeers Insteon plugin.

You may want to verify your hub version and revert back.

I just tried my 2245-222 hub fw 9E and it *does* send and receive x10 cmds

Jan-03 4:41:33 PM Insteon Processing Received X10 Command: A All Units Off
    Jan-03 4:41:33 PM Insteon Sending http://192.168.1.82:25105/1?XB=M=1
    Jan-03 4:41:33 PM Insteon PLM_ProcessInBuffer received STX 0x52 (Raw X10 Rec):60 80

    Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon ..Got Hub Response 02 63 62 80 06
    Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon PLMBuffer_Clean - Cleared 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0A to locate next possible STX
Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon Clearing buffer...
Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon ..My XML buffer begins with: 0263628006
Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon Finished sending command.
    Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon Sending http://192.168.1.82:25105/3?02636280=I=3
    Jan-03 4:44:22 PM Insteon Sending command 02 63 62 80 to Hub, (Expecting 0 bytes extra back) Pre-Payload ACK:False, NAK is ok:False
my guess is smarthome dropped x10 support in their app, not the physical device.

I had read that it is possible to add X10 devices to the hub using the Android app, but not the iPhone app, for the newer hub.

The document states that X10 devices are supported. I had thought that only the older 2242 hub supported X10 and that the newer Insteon 2245 hub had dropped X10 support.
The plugin does support all Hubs via LAN access. And I believe you are correct that the 2245 does not support X10. I can update the document to clarify this. I'll test my 2245 first

So if I buy your plugin along with a standard Insteon hub then from HS I can control the Insteon devices.

Sorry to be a pain, just want to get this right!
    that all looks correct.

Ha, the device support from the Homeseer plugin is laughable. They should just scrap it and pay you to include your plugin.
