I just got a Shelly DUO US Bulb. MQTT performance was terrible initially. It wouldn't report power (watts), never reported firmware, etc. Also, Homebridge Shelly plugin couldn't turn it off. It came installed with firmware version "20191216-140245" and showed no updates. The solution was to go to:

and it will build a URL to navigate to force a firmware upgrade. Once I was upgraded to 1.9.4, it showed an available update to 1.11.8. After these firmware updates, it worked better. I created the templates attached.
