    Hue plugin

    Hi!

Would this work with the HUE compatible deconz/phoscon API?

If so, could we please have the ability to add a bridge manually in the HUE plugin? Deconz is running on a non-default portnumber (cannot share with homeseer) and isn't found by the hub-scan feature.

No, deconz/phoscon is not supported by the HS4 PhilipsHue plugin

Ok, It doesn't find the diyhue either. The official hue playstore app does :-\

aah... it tries to reach discovery.meethue.com, this won't work with either one of diyhue or deconz.

        Could somebody post their PhilipsHue.ini?
I can't find any information about what it should contain.

Anyone willing to lend a copy of a working PhilipsHue.ini?
I desperately need something to keep me busy

here is the content of my PhilipsHue.ini

            Code:
            [BRIDGES]
            abb5fafffe0ed863###appkey=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
            abb5fafffe0ed863###ipaddress=192.168.1.151
abb5fafffe0ed863 is the id of the bridge, and XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is an authorized username
to get an authorized username you have to press the link button of the bridge and this is done just after the discovery step through the "Add New Bridge" page. So unless you already know one for your diyhue, I don't think it will work to just put a non valid one in the ini file.

Anyway I'm going to enhance the discovery process made by the plugin so that it supports several methods. That should help discovering a diyhue.

Please install and test version 4.0.16 of the plugin with diyhue.
In this version both N-UPNP and SSDP discovery are enabled.

Great, I'll test it out later
could manual IP be added? Deconz emulates a hue bridge. But doesn't include discovery protocols.

It finds the DIYHue bridge now - thank you!
But being able to use a manually entered ip would be nice.

Right now the communication is: Homeseer -> diyhue -> deconz
Cutting out diyhue would be preferable.

And since phoscon/deconz does emulate the HUE api, it should be doable

                    Hi spud
I don't suppose there has been any further thoughts on adding the manual IP option for this as i have a similar issue whilst testing deployment options?

                    Thanks for your thoughts
