    Plugin upgrade

What is the correct upgrade procedure to move from zwave plugin 3.0.2.0 to the new 3.0.7.0 and the UI plugin 1? I see the new plugins in the plugin list but my existing one does not show an upgrade is available

        THANK YOU

EDIT: Interesting. I just went to Plugin Management and there's an update to Z-Wave showing now.

Thank you, was able to go through it with no issues-other than the install would not start until I shut down the zwave plugin-no big deal.

Since the plugin update from 3.0.2.0, the backup and restore function for the Ztroller no longer works. In fact, there is no restore function in the "legacy" menu of the 3.0.7.0 version and the "new UI" version fails when you attempt to restore a backup to the Ztroller. This is a major concern for those of us still using the Ztroller. I have submitted a ticket on the issue and I hope rjh is aware of the issue. I had to go back to the 3.0.2.0 plugin to feel comfortable.

I will note this, but you really should upgrade the Z-Troller to something newer. I know you will not like my answer but the Z-Troller is using the old 300 series Z-Wave chip which is missing many enhancements that were added to the 500 series chip (like auto routing and lots more). For now, I would go back to the older plugin if you need to do a restore. I assume that is something you probably don't need to do often. I will see if I can find a Z-Troller as the ability to restore to it was not removed on purpose so it might be a simple fix.

For what it is worth, I'm on HS4 4.2 and Z-Wave plugin 3.0.2.4 and the upgrade does not show itself in the installed plug-ins area. The instructions seem to indicate any version higher than 3.0.2.0 should show the upgrade. Yes, I manually checked for updates first.

                  See this thread: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/ho...ave-controller

Although the OP says Z-Troller, from the version he posts its apparent he instead has a Z-Net V2.

Ok, a Z-Net is a different story, I will check those.

You're not the OP - Original Poster. The OP identified his unit as a Z-Troller, but the version info he posted shows it is actually a Z-Net.

                          Hi,
rjh What is the status on the SmartStick+ G3 USB Z-Wave 700 series Stick and the 3.0.7.0 plugin? There was a SiliconLabs issue that prompted me to revert back to the 500 series stick. Has it been corrected?
                          Thanks!

It looks like you may have tried to access them while we were upgrading our docs server. The links no longer do this.

We are still working on getting this fixed so users can reliably use their SS+G3. This is also holding up our 700 series Z-NET! We are eager to get this resolved. As of right now, I do not have a time frame, unfortunately.
