Help with zwave interface

Using Homeseer Z-Net interface. Suddenly I can't include or exclude nodes. I've tried three different devices and the plugin never sees that the device went into include/exclude m o de. It just keeps telling me to active include/exclude on the device. The interface seems to be working. I can control devices that are already there.
Can anyone tell me how to fix?

Now when I try to add or include I just get this error:

Error, the Add Node response object is null and a normal ending was not reported - Add Node failed.

I've tried restarting HS and the z-wave interface but nothing helps./

Now it seems to be working again-but not for the bad HS-WX300 switch I was trying to use.
