two znets in the same space - high speed/low speed - does this make sense?

I'm seeing intermittent slow response on my zwave network. 40 nodes. I was thinking that I could add a 2nd znet for only those devices that I want quick response on (motion sensors triggering lights). Would this work or does the fact that zwave uses all the same radio frequency mean I'm just making things worse?

    Thanks for any opinions/experiences

If the two Z-nets are near each other physically, making things worse IMO.

Do you have a combination of series 300, 500 and 700 devices?

I separated these and the response increased.
