spud New development. I have a new HUSBZB-1 controller so I set it up in just like I did the original HUSBZB-1 controller, except new one is com11 and com12. It initializes fine as a z-wave controller on com12. So I went to the zigbee plugin and this time the zigbee part of the new controller went through and is working on com11!! So the original controller (zigbee part) must be bad.

BTW, I just added a zigbee power plug I had and it is working fine.

Now the only issue is the original controller has all the node information on it and the new controller does not. How do you transfer the node info from the original to the new?

Are you sure the com port for Zigbee is COM5?
    Yes

Have you deleted the interface you created in the Zwave plugin linked to COM5?
    Yes

I did set the log level and that is what I showed in red above.

If you can't figure it out, please set the log level to Debug from the settings page, and post the logs you get when you try to initialize the network.

You can't add the Zigbee controller part of the HUSBZB-1 with the "Controller Management" function of the Z-wave plugin. The Z-wave plugin is only for Z-wave!

You need to install and start the HS4 Zigbee plugin, and then from Zigbee > Setup Network, you will be able to add your Zigbee interface..

Seems you are trying to connect the Zigbee radio from the Z-Wave plugin?? That'll never work ... what procedure are you using??

You need to use the Zigbee plugin for the Zigbee radio.

    Legacy-Plugin
    Z-Wave
Note: Only one system may connect to an Ethernet interface at one time. If 2 systems are connecting to your Z-Wave interface, HomeSeer will not connect.

    Z-Wave is on COM6
    Zigbee is on COM5

I don't have any Zigbee devices, however I followed the steps from here and the controller added just fine.

    Where specifically does it fail?
It is stopping at being initialized as a zigbee controller. The com port is there and working. The driver to the port has been loaded. It just won't find it. I wonder if the controller has a bad zigbee radio. I have ordered a new one. When that arrives then I will be asking how to convert the old one to the new one so as not to lose my z-wave info.
