Is the Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus supported?

Homeseer HS4PRO installed on Ubuntu 22.04 with CP210x drivers installed. HS4 Zigbee Plug-in setup seems to see the device installed on USB1, but does not initialize. I can also switch the dongle to USB0 and I get the same error message. I have also changed permissions (chmod 666) for both USB0 and USB1.
    Any suggestions?

According to the requirements on the plugin page, it requires the Nortek stick.

If you don't want to change hardware that dongle works with zigbee2mqtt and mcsMQTT plugin--and likely with the other MQTT plugin(s), but I haven't tried.

Kinda sucks for my HS4 that’s on Linux. Guess I’ll have to go the zigbee2mqtt route.

Did you succeed using zigbee2mqtt ? Can you fully setup a (new) zigbee network using the mqtt interface?

I just bought a Sonoff ZigBee dongle too (because I see homeseer sells it I says its Linux compatible) https://shop.homeseer.com/collection...sb-dongle-plus

I don't understand why HS4 on linux can't use the Sonoff dongle

The Zigbee Plus plugin uses Zigbee2MQTT. You should check out that plugin instead of the original Zigbee plugin. Forum is here: https://forums.homeseer.com/forum/hs...-plus-homeseer

I ended going back to the Nortek USB Security Stick and have had no problems since.

I was hoping to save $50 but I may still return within my 30 day refund period... I've been expirementing with the Zigbee Plus add-on, and I'm making progress (see seperate thread). Perhaps that will work....

A quick update - I got the Sonoff Zigbee controller working with HomeSeer. I used the beta Zigbee Plus add-on (included with HS4). It is really just an interface to the open source zigbee2mqtt program - but it works fine.

If you're running HS4 under link there are a couple of steps you should do first, but it will work! I have only added 1 Zigbee light bulb so far...so YMMV
