DESCRIPTION
This plugin enabled you to send Pushover messages through the event engine of HS4. It supports standard messages, glance messages and emergency messages. Formatting, notification sounds, emergency settings etc are all fully configurable.
Multiple instances, multiple Applications, and multiple Device and Delivery Groups are all supported.
It runs both on Windows and Linux. It will require an account on the Pushover.net site, and some basic setup.
REQUIREMENTS
INSTALLATION
There are no additional software requirements. Start by selecting “Add” from the “Plugins” menu:
Search for “Pushover” and click on the “Pushover” plugin found:
Click “INSTALL” from the popup shown above, and the plugin will complete the installation:
CONFIGURATION
After installation and starting the Plugin, start by adding a new Pushover instance. Select “Pushover” from the “Plugins” menu, and click “Add new Pushover instance”:
Assuming you already have a working Pushover instance, click CONTINUE on the Intro page. If you are setting up Pushover for the first time, follow the instructions here.
Name the Instance (can be any name, will only be used by the plugin internally):
Next, enter your User Key:
Then, enter the Application Name:
Followed by the Application Token:
And finally, verify the data entered and click "CONFIRM".
If you want to configure additional bots, repeat the steps above for every bot.
After the Pushover instance is configured, you will be redirected to the plugin setup page, where the status for each instance is shown:
Select a Pushover instance from the menu to configure it:

- Windows: .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later
- Linux: mono 5.18 or later
- One or more configured Pushover accounts (instances) (instructions here)

- Name: change the name of the Pushover instance
- Token: change the User Key of the Pushover instance
- Applications: Change your Application Token or add additional Tokens
- Devices: Shows the devices you’ve installed
- Sounds: Shows all sounds (default and custom) that you’ve configured at Pushover
- Advanced settings:
- Debug logging: enable when debugging issues
- Log data send: log all data send to this Pushover instance
- Log data received: log all data received by this Pushover instance
- Log to file: redirect all logging for this Pushover instance to a file (located in the Logs directory of your HomeSeer path)
