    Awesome plugin

Wow - love this plugin. Sending a text to my house to do things like open our front gate, turn on the pool pump etc is very useful (very high WAF)! Great job thanks - purchased.

    Regards,
    Tim

This is a game-changer for us. The family would much rather send a simple text, rather than open imperihome etc. Do you think it would be possible to create widgets for phones to replicate texts (we use android)? Again - well done!

I am not an android programmer. But I believe there are other options to create widgets on Android. Don't know about Telegram widgets, but I use "HTTP Shortcuts" to create widgets that send a URL to HomeSeer to trigger events.

        For instance: http://{{1}}/JSON?request=runevent&group=Shutters&name=Bedroom Shutters Open

Hi Kilo, can you expand on how a URL can trigger an event within HomeSeer? is the {{1}} just the HomeSeer's LAN IP? Or is there also a user/pass needed?

Hi DLONG2 , yes, {{1}} is just the HS4 IP address.

Here is the API doc: https://docs.homeseer.com/display/HSPI/JSON+API

Make sure to enable this first in your HS4 Settings, tab "Network" section "Remote Control Settings".

Thanks, stefxx, that works. Opens up a whole new avenue for automation now! Odd, though, that the document says a local IP doesn't need the user and pass when it does.
