The Sure Petcare API is not official and therefore could change at any time which may limit or break the operation of the plug-in.

Sure Petcare may limit access to the API. Whilst I am not aware of any limits on the number or frequency of calls to the web API, there may be limits now, or imposed in the future, which might cause a user to be locked out of their account. It doesn’t seem a good idea to poll the Petcare Servers too frequently. Think about how necessary your requirements are before selecting a short interval for the regular updates.

The starting point for understanding the API was the wonderful information provided by Alex Toft https://github.com/alextoft/sureflap.

Please refer to the Quick Start Guide thread for information on Installation and Setting Up.

The latest beta 4.0.1.13 now allows the weight and quantity units for feeding and drinking to be switched between Metric and Imperial.

The latest release version 4.0.1.22 requires that HS4 must be greater than version 4.2.8. This is due to a change in the HomeSeer API.
