Liftmaster 823lm Remote Light Switches not working with HS MyQ 4.0.8.0

    Liftmaster 823lm Remote Light Switches not working with HS MyQ 4.0.8.0

    I have three Liftmaster 823lm Remote Light Switches installed but nothing happens when I try to control them with HomeSeer. My two garage doors open and close with the HS MyQ plugin 4.0.8.0 on HS4 Pro Edition 4.2.7.0 (Windows). The lights work in the MyQ App and devices are created and show status in HomeSeer. They are also discovered by Alexa.

    Here are the debug logs when I push "ON" for each of the switches in sequence.

    Any advice on troubleshooting?

    I don't have lights to to test with but the request to turn on a lamp in your logs looks ok:

    I would need some other users that have lights controllable from MyQ to chime in and confirm if it works or not for them so that we can know if the problem is something specific to your system or if support for lamps is plain broken.

      I pulled a Liftmaster 825LM light controller out of storage and tried it. I received the same error as OP.

        Could you do a quick test:
        • disable the HS MyQ plugin
        • update MyQNet.dll with the one in the attached zip
        • enable the HS MyQ plugin
        • try to turn on/off your light from HS
        If it still doesn't work, post the debug logs you get

                That fixed it. Thanks spud. I notice the time to update HS device value/status is variable, not instantaneous, whether switched via HS GUI or manually at the physical device. Assume this is due to updates being dependent on polling the MyQ server?

                  When you turn a light on/off from HS, a poll request is sent to the Myq servers one second later to get the new status, so you should get an update for the HS device about 1 second later.
                  When you turn it on/off manually at the physical device, the status will be updated on the next poll request which by default occurs every 30 seconds. (configurable in the settings page)

                  Note that if you open or close a garage door from HS, the plugin will switch to high frequency polling (one poll request every 3 seconds) for a period of 20 seconds.

                    Every few tries when turning the light on from the HS GUI, the HS device seems to miss the immediate update but then updates maybe 20-30 seconds later. I'd say it happened every 4th or 5th time switching the light on. Didn't notice it happen when turning the light off.

                    This isn't a big issue for me, just passing along what I observed. Thanks.
