    Regression with 4.2.1.0

All was working with previous version - upgrading to 4.2.1.0 caused the current temp string to be empty again. see screenshots:

It's likely this is caused by bad data in the thermostat settings for min and max. I ran into this when playing around with °C and °F testing. What does your thermostat list page show for min/max values?

doesn't seem out of whack - all 4 thermostats show the same value, yet 2 of them does not show the indoor temp correctly

You can either wait for 4.2.1.1 to show up with the fixed install.txt file or if you want to check it out right now and you have easy access to the server, in your HS4\Updates4 directory there should be a folder for WiFi Thermostat 4.2.1.0. Inside that folder is a file named debug_list.html. Copy that to your HS4\html\WiFiThermostat folder. (There was a typo in the install.txt that kept it from being copied over.)

Then go turn your log level up to Trace, click Save, click Clear Log File, then go to the new "Debug" menu item that shows up when your log level is DEBUG or higher.

On that page you'll see all kinds of stuff, including the current value and the current string. You'll notice the one that has a value but no string for this issue. Next to that is an icon of an eye - click that and it will regenerate the Status Graphics for that device, and hopefully it will fix it but if not, the process will be in your log file.

After you finish that, go back to settings and set the log level back to DEBUG or less and Save it, then download the log file and provide that if it's still not working.

I'd also like to see the other data shown for that thermostat (the PED and Json data columns in the table).

Glad to hear that debug page already came in handy!

I had this same issue with with 4.2.1.0. Interestingly, it was only on one of my 3 thermostats. The solution was easy: add the missing status graphics ranges on the device's "Status/Graphics" tab page.

4.2.1.1 was approved by HS yesterday and should install the debug page correctly now, so if anyone else runs into this, the Status/Graphics stuff can be regenerated with that page if needed.
