    Beta plugin failed on authorization

    Resolved

Plugin installed in HS4 without problems. I migrated my Nest thermostats to Google some time ago. No problem with the directions but could not obtain authorization. Here's the error 404 Bad Request: /GoogleNest/authorize.html?code=4/0AdQt8qhLzKXUS8UlgWuiRJOWY4p66GffmvCkWhzeKk6xAV9aq6_HkWU1Ukn-WUyG7qWxLA&scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/sdm.thermostat.service

There's nothing in the log which I have set to debug...is it stored in the HS log or elsewhere?

And an update. I had one old (NEST brand) Nest that had a cracked face (long story) so I took the opportunity to replace it with a new Google branded device. It's accessible from Google home and from the Alexa Google Nest skill. I tried authorizing just this one thermostat for the plugin. Same result.

Can you access your HS4 system through myhs by copy/pasting the following URL in a browser?
      https://connected.homeseer.com/

if so, can you access this page:
      https://connected.homeseer.com/Googl...authorize.html

Well, I think I see the problem now. That URL opened my HS3 Sel webpage. I had the HS3 system set as my primary system. I've now changed the primary to HS4 but the HS3 webpage is still coming up. I'll wait awhile for the Homseer servers to catchup to the change and try again.

Two days after I made the change in MyHS to specify HS4 as my primary system, I can access it through the URL (just about as fast as the U.S. mail). Setup of my thermostats worked perfectly with the devices created as expected. Thank you Spud! I'll be testing for response/control now.
