Using countdown timer to blink lights

I saw your tutorial where you use the countdown timer to blink a light and like it. It works for me, but I cannot get the light to stop blinking. How do I get the light to stop blinking after some duration (e.g. 10 seconds) or after some number of blinks?

Maybe having a "Recursion Timer" option like the group delay for triggers and/or a "Recursion Count" option for the countdown timer can work. When the user set "recursion time" ends or the start state has run "recursion count" times, the countdown timer stops. By carefully choosing the recursion time or count, the user can determine which end state the countdown will stop. I hope this makes sense.
