    Hi Bob

in the config xml file.....the on/off images are defined

The device shows different icons in HS4....(default?)

I did check the gif in question is available on the filesystem.

The detailed startup log should have details of this device as it is old and hasn't changed since HS3 days.

dumpdevice data in case it helps.

The plugin will no longer take over the sensor properties like in HS3
If you are using a virtual device for the sensor then all status updates will happen on it
    Cheers,
    Bob

The plugin used to change the device string in HS3 and include the on or off image as well as text and a time string

Is this what you are missing in the HS4 version?
        Cheers,
        Bob

                  Good news!!! it works.

So my use model maybe different from others. I use computer to setup HomeSeer and HStouch for day to day family operation, with custom screens.

I never use grid view in HS4.....This change has extra info in grid view, which may adversely affect others.

the same info on my HStouch screen looks great because I can select the exact info I require.

                  Maybe something to consider.....
