Assistance with Getting AK Weather Installed

This is probably a stupid user issue but I just purchased AK Weather and am having problems getting it to start.

The pluging reports "INFO: Plugin start is pending". I am running version 4.0.0.69. When I click on the dropdown to configure the plugin, the dropdown is empty.

I turned it off then tried to turn it back on, but now it wont turn on (quickly turns itself off).

    Appreciate the help!

Are you on Windows or Linux? It looks like it's crashing during start-up. Possibly problem with .NET framework.

If on Windows, please go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/interfaces and enable "Developer Mode", then restart the plugin. It should start with console window, please check for any errors. Also check the log.

And possibly try the BETA version 4.0.0.82

Still no go. I am running on Windows - one of their HomeToller Pro hubs.

I added beta and still didnt work either.

      No errors in the log.

        What about "Developer Mode"?

        [EDIT]

Most often it's .NET issue or Newtonsoft.Json.dll version conflict. Using "Developer Mode" you should be able to see the errors.

Alternatively, you can try open command prompt window in "C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS4" and execute HSPI_AKWeather.exe

As I said, "then restart the plugin. It should start with console window, please check for any errors"

Alternatively, you can try open command prompt window in "C:\Program Files (x86)\HomeSeer HS4" and execute HSPI_AKWeather.exe

Before doing the above, make sure the HSPI_AKWeather.exe is not running in Task Manager

Alex - thanks for the killer support!
It was in fact .NET - I installed it and things went great. The marine forecasts are working awesome!

Do you by chance have the NOAA Weather Buoys available? https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_pa...?station=45196
              I just found this - https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/rt_data_access.shtml and https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/docs/ndbc_web_data_guide.pdf

Not sure if you have these available or not...

Great product - thanks so much.

Great. The marine forecast was done pretty quickly, so I suppose more can be done. As I remember, the API I used was actually for lakes, not exactly marine. I need to check.

And feel free to remind me if I forget

                [EDIT]

It's actually opposite - the user requested the lakes info, but the API I'm using is marine.weather.gov - which does work for lakes as well.

But I do need to check NDBC
